He never underestimates or puts down a person friend or foe because he knows he himself once was a shrimp of a boy. He is cunning as a fox with a polite charm to him.

Bio: Daniel Crane was an orphan boy of 4 years living in Forh's beach mining Hardsand for most of his life. He was a scrawny lanky child that was good at observing the environment and sneaking around. His steps so light that even in the sand he barely made a sound. Lord Odin Korr saw this and this and took the boy in. Having the duel masters teach the miner the way of the blade. It was in the Vadaedran academy he met his life long best friend Beron Locton, and the two became brothers. The training was hard for the boy who took convincing from his younger friend to keep going and stop crying. Daniel grew tough, and was taught right from wrong and the way of honor. He had to do these tasks every day along with the other students (though everyone was harder on him and expected more of the poor weakling) he had to chase a cat through a wide courtyard and catch it within a 10 minute time frame, perform 40 push-ups, pull ups, sit ups, walk around on one foot up and down stairs and all around for 30 minutes (with his other leg tied) and then another on the other leg, stand on a thin rope above a pond and walk across it first with feet, then with hands. Jump from creaky crate to creaky crate without making a noise, acrobatic practices, read 5 books in multiple subjects and languages, and then fencing lessons. Every day for the next 20 years he would do all these exercises and they would get harder each week so he never knew what to prepare for. However this shaped him and his friend, they became great duelists and warriors. The students all graduated and were allowed to leave and travel wherever they wish. Beron and Daniel explored the world for 3 years learning the culture, food, fighting, etc of many many lands making their exposure very diverse. They eventually ventured back to Vadaedra in it's time of need and then back home to Forh's Beach, where Beron became a swordswisher and Daniel became the battlemaster (the highest position a Vadaedran swordsman can achieve) and soon after they were knighted. For they drove away Khan's forces in the Battle of Sand and the Battle for Vadaedra. He now travels again to help other kingdoms and train other soldiers to prepare them. He is a kind hearted man who has a very remarkable brain. He can speak many tongues even ones of the ancient folk. And his cultural knowledge is so vast that he can even sympathize with other species and each party in a war. He has a near photographic memory and holds more knowledge than most men, he can scan an environment within seconds and know how he can win the battle and what strategies to use. He is not overly muscular or physically overwhelming but he pays great attention to detail and intense mental and physical training makes him very athletic and nimble. He is known was one of the greatest swordsmen in the land and was able to drop 30 Armored Iceglass men in 45 seconds with a wooden sword in a sparring match to test their abilities. He is swift and very fast at fighting, watching for weaknesses, habits, and openings allowing him to take out opponents with much ease and dodge or parry nearly everything thrown at him. He can run, jump, climb, and move like an elf or a great acrobatic jester. And he is said to be an untouchable blur of wind and blade. He has mastered many physical and mental arts and is wiser and more intelligent than his age should allow. He often shows mercy and compassion but will be firm and bring justice. He is a smooth talker and often lighthearted and jolly, and he likes connecting with people and knowing them. This helps him make friends and allies. He is the best duelist in the land for a reason however, not just because of rumors. He is swift and precise and very very skilled, he beat men and creatures who should be leagues above him, and it is said he could've taken down the beast in one on one combat or even the Dark Elf King himself. He is only human, but he is quite possibly the peak of human capability. Though he is humble and dismisses his abilities- even suppresses them in his self doubt.
